General
objectives
|
|
The
objective of the programme is to promote networking
and cooperation on drug demand reduction between NGOs
of the central and east European candidate countries
(CEECs) and their counterparts from the Member States
of the European Union (EU).
|
|
Target
group
|
Applicants
(lead partners) must act in partnership with at least
two other NGOs. One of the NGOs in the partnership should
be from an EU country,while the two others should come
from a CEEC country.
Besides the EU NGO,atleastone of these CEEC NGOs should
also be active in drug demand reduction (to be demonstrated
by listing relevant projects). One of these two NGOs could
be the applicant (lead partner).Apart from the required
minimum of three NGOs,the project may have other not-for-profit
partners such as local and/or regional authorities. See
guidelines for applicants,points 2.1.1 and 2.1.2. The
applicant will be the lead organisation and,in case of
selection,the contracting party (the ‘beneficiary ’).
Please note that priority will be given to projects with
wide participation from both the EU and the CEECs aimed
at creating and/or strengthening networks between the
respective partners. |

Germany,Greece,Spain,France,Ireland,Italy,Luxembourg,the
Netherlands,Austria,Portugal,Finland,Sweden and United
Kingdom ) and the central and east European candidate
countries.
The central and east European candidate countries (CEECs)are:
Estonia,Latvia,Lithuania,Poland,Czech Republic,Slovak
Republic,Hungary,Slovenia,Romania and Bulgaria. |

Overall
amount available for this call for proposals: EUR 1 800
000.
Maximum and minimum grant amounts
(a)Minimum grant for a project:EUR 100 000.
(b)Maximum grant for a project:EUR 250 000.
(c)Maximum proportion of project costs to be covered
by Community funding:80 %. |

| The duration of a project
may notexceed 24 months. |
