objectives

| The
aim of this call for proposals is to identify actions
which may be eligible for financial support from the
European Commission, Directorate-General for Environment.
This aid would take the form of cofinancing.
To establish a Community framework for cooperation between
Member States in the field of accidental or deliberate
marine pollution .

For
guidance and subject to confirmation of the appropriations
under the budget for 2002, DG Environment is planning
to allocate in total about EUR 1 million.
A total of EUR 7 million has been made available to implement
the Decision over the period 2000-2006.
